FrumFind.org: "We the Jewish people are nation of priests, of Kohanim, We are a light unto the other nations.
If we as G-d’s chosen people give up on our land, on our rights and each other, then you can pretty much expect the other nations to follow suit. In biblical time it was Yosef, who sustained the entire planet because of his wisdom. We can not allow unwise leaders, or rabble rousing political activists to control our destiny."

How did I change my Alexa Ranking in only 14 days | W3blog.dk - Blogengine.net and Wordpress themes: "So what did I do to change my Alexa Ranking with over 100,000 places in 14 days…..
Letting Alexa know how many visitors my blog has.
In order to do this, I installed their script on the blog thereby giving them the 411 on my hits, viewed pages, time on the blog and so on.
Then I installed their plugin on my Firefox, Internet Explore and Chrome, thus making sure that my on hits on the page also recorded in the stats.
And that was all I did the first week, just to see of that was enough to change my ranking and it was. It didn’t change a hole lot but still, it showed that just by adding their script you could change the ranking. Thus backing up the idea of Alexa not being accurate at all."

How did I change my Alexa Ranking in only 14 days | W3blog.dk - Blogengine.net and Wordpress themes: "g….. Because I had never before done that, so something new for me also.
And then is was just a waiting game to see the result, and it came and I mean really it came.!!!
From the 12 October to the 30 October my traffic increased with 176.66%, this increase it of course not only due to my adding the blog to these lists but also my two other posts on Alexa.
In other words I went from about 50 hits a day to 167 as a month record for one day, and I’m petty pleased with that.! "

Small Business Loan Funds – Jewish Agency for Israel

Small Business Loan Funds – Jewish Agency for Israel: "Israelis with entrepreneurial initiative and sound business ideas lack the collateral necessary to receive regular bank loans. The demands of the regular capital market prevent them from raising the initial capital needed to open their business. New immigrants and economically disadvantaged native-born Israelis thus stand little chance of receiving bank financing, no matter how promising their initiative may be.

The Jewish Agency Loan Fund addresses this unmet need and contracts with the banks to undertake part of the financial responsibility in the event of default of repayment. The Jewish Agency guarantees the loans if the applicant falls within the designated criteria.

From an idea to a successful business – How Does It Work?

The process starts with the entrepreneur contacting an independent business advisor or MATI centers (entrepreneurship development centers) around Israel. The business concept is examined and an application for basic approval is submitted. The Jewish Agency considers whether the entrepreneur satisfies the preset criteria and the bank looks at financial risks involved."

Mystery jump in GOOG revenues as AdSense publishers weaken | ZDNet

Mystery jump in GOOG revenues as AdSense publishers weaken | ZDNet: "Mystery jump in GOOG revenues as AdSense publishers weaken
By Tom Foremski | April 14, 2011, 7:32pm PDT

Summary: Why have Google sites grown far faster than partner sites in Q1 when for all of 2010 Google sites could barely keep up?

Google’s Q1 2011 financial results show a significant shift in revenues away from its partner sites in its AdSense advertising network.

Google [$GOOG] typically relies on partner sites for about 30% of total revenues but over the past year it has managed to reduce that to 28%.

Some Google partner sites have been criticized for being spam sites and content mills. But there are also many respectable news sites, such as The New York Times, in the partner program."

How Did BFAds.net and TheBlackFriday.com Steal All The Black Friday Traffic? | Morgan Linton

How Did BFAds.net and TheBlackFriday.com Steal All The Black Friday Traffic? | Morgan Linton: "BlackFriday.com has only 582 total links with less than 100 root domains linking in. This is a critical miss and while there are some good links coming in, their competitors beat them in the SEO game plain and simple.

Now for the very important disclaimer here, Complete.com isn’t necessarily providing perfectly accurate data, these are only estimates, but they can help determine relative scale. Given where BFAds.net and TheBlackFriday.com are located within the search results in Google vs. BlackFriday.com this data also makes sense. Google has always used the number and quality of links as a key determinant of relevance. As a domain investor I love domain names and especially category-killers like BlackFriday.com but this just goes to show how powerful SEO can be at driving traffic."

Hello Ombusdman for ICANN

Nice of you to introduce yourself to people who might have a vested interest in the domain business.

It looks like my comment was believed to be spam, so I will introduce it here:
Edit HTML
Hello again:

New Ombudsman at ICANN

by CHRIS LAHATTE on AUGUST 1, 2011

I wanted to try a more proper introduction:

Hi Chris,

My name is Stephen C. Sanders and I have been very interested in the domain field for several years now. I personally feel that ICANN should be as forthcoming, and transparent regarding the nature and the reason for the release of, an entire alphabet soup of new domain endings.

Perhaps before I pass judgement and misinterpret the reason for adding even more possibilities for the different letters that follow a given domain name. Additionally I am big enough to admit that these changes could theoretically devalue some of the many domains I have purchased and continue to have to pay for in the way of renewals.

When a company offers a "Solution" such as adding new Domain endings as in the new gTLD's it might be useful to know some of the initial "Problems" that caused such a solution to be looked into in the 1st place.

I have had friends ask me if they believe that investing in domains can still be a profitable thing, I am curious to know:

A) Can you provide some quality links that explains whats going on from the point of view of a novice (perhaps as a response to this)

B) When a company or business such as lets say "Target" for example tries to buy the rights to: dot Target,

Does this mean that they will now control the dot target TLD - For their own corporate use only, and therefore also mean that they could no longer or must relinquish any "pending litigation" against owners of domains like:

TargetPractice.org .biz .com .net .info .us ???

Because even a lawyer would have to see that TargetPractice could be a useful name of an Archery store or hunting club etc.

C) Is Target allowed to then "sell" its .target TLD to just anyone, ..?

In other words, how is this thing going to work?

Stephen C. Sanders

TheWritersCafe.org

PS: I hope you understand my perspective on the idea that until this very recent change there may be have been many other people (like myself) who have been working on developing a unique a novel plan to enter into the the internet marketplace with various products and strategies.

Therefore depending on the intent, plan and scope of these changes, people who have been building up and seeking funding for the novel enterprises may find the introduction of gTLD's to be a major game changer, and they deserve at least to be considered.

For example some of my friends on Facebook showed some skepticism about the domain field, I personally think that the usage of such labels as "domain squatters" is frequently overuses and applied incorrectly, additionally the frequently stated belief that every good name is already taken I can easily prove to be totally false an having no reasonable basis in fact.

My FB friends asked me about investing in domains

So if your friends were asking you about investing in domains, what would you tell them?

PSS: I am known by my Hebrew name on Facebook.

Predicting the Future | ICANN New gTLDs

Predicting the Future | ICANN New gTLDs: "Could a DNSSEC-protected TLD that heavily authenticates registrants shut out fraudulent web pages and cybersquatting?

New gTLDs represent a platform for innovation. No one can predict what smart people will do with them. Lots of new business models will be invented. Some will work. Some won’t.

But given the fountain of innovation and public benefit that has poured from the Internet over the last 20 years, sitting here in 2011 and definitively predicting the failure of new gTLDs seems short-sighted."

MyDomainResearch.com | Actual Domain StatisticsThe page below is a typical sample of a spreadsheet which contains a fair amount of data that someone who is researching various domains might look into prior to completing their purchase. While it is true that there could sometimes be some perceived sense of pressure due to the fact that there are many people seeking to purchase quality domains at any given time, it is better to consider your purchase carefully. I have heard horror stories from people explaining to me that just as they were about to purchase their domain from a large domain sales company, it seemed as if someone had "swooped down" and "grabbed the domain" right before they were able to buy it!We will discuss such scenarios and what they might mean and to avoid them, in future pieces on this website.

Excellent, MoneyTalk.com for 15K is a nice benchmark! I think I can now roll out my own personal list of high quality domains in various categories:

My current thinking on this is that domains that might have brought in Big Money (in the millions) lets say even as recently as 2005 which was already about a tenth of what the might have been at a different time:

Ex: #105 annuity.com $600,000 Townsend, David 12/1/2005 Private sale Or ... #241 action.com $230,000 Moniker Privacy Services 7/30/2008 Moniker.com MONIKER ONLINE SERVICES, INC."

Invent-A-Venture: Valuable Words: Pricing Internet Domain Names by Thies Lindenthal :: SSRN: "The index can serve as a benchmark for domain name traders and investors looking for information on price trends, historical returns and fundamental risk of internet domain names. It thereby increases transparency in the market for this newly emerged asset class. Furthermore, it can serve as a fever curve for the well-being of the internet economy, since the demand for domains is linked to online business opportunities in general. This proxy also includes small enterprises that are excluded by traditional stock-price indices."

Has Sedo’s Value Become Merely a Domain Sales Platform? | Domain Shane

Has Sedo’s Value Become Merely a Domain Sales Platform? | Domain Shane: "My sarcasm on that huge amount of income is what generated the comment from my friend.  He asked why I don’t just move the names to Afternic.
My opinion is this.  Regardless of where I park my domains I am most likely not going to make much money.  At this point in time my goal is to have my domains in view to as many potential buyers as possible.  I park at Sedo because of this reason. Afternic, Godaddy,  and many other parking companies provide this same opportunity but in my opinion, of the publicly available parking/sales sites, Sedo has had the best results for me.  I do think this is changing.  I think Godaddy and Afternic are coming on strong."

Has Sedo’s Value Become Merely a Domain Sales Platform? | Domain Shane: " fellow domain investor asked me last week. Is Sedo’s only value their ability to provide domain name buyers? Sedo is a big part of my annual sales.  The reputation they’ve built over the years has made them, Afternic, and Godaddy  THE three public places to park your domain portfolio. The security of the transactions and the quantity of domains has made them a first stop for many domain investors and end users looking for names.  But if you’re looking to actually make money parking, that’s another story."

After setting up your identity on the web my next recommendation would be to begin blogging. This can either be at your personal web page or a new company page or brand identity. Write a few posts about topics related to your domains, the domains themselves, post a sale, share some news; the point is to get original content indexed and have an outlet to advertise and accept inquiries."

Where can we find the “Way Back Machine”? « TheWritersCafe.org: "a random post I found from the previous owner of this domain.

I thought to myself, how interesting, this domain, had some sort of virtual life before I even clicked that button so many years ago. purchasing this domain, which was to become the seed of so much writing and often an excess of research, and refinement of web development methods. So now as I sit nearly exhausted mainly because I see, things which perhaps I poured hour upon hour into may seem to come almost effortlessly to others who seem to get so much more web traffic then I do,

Yet the interesting little image, and the simple logo, and the idea that this domain once belonged to what appeared to be an upper grade school."

Quotation Of The Day- From Tzfat-Line

Item #15
Did you lose your Puppy?
Better yet, do you miss Puppy?
A beautiful puppy followed my kids form the Midrachov after school today; he was cold, wet and crying of hunger.
Please see pictures of him attached and let us know if he belongs to you or someone you know. He looks about 2 months old, playful and apparently from a home in which he plays a lot and gets lots of attention.
We are not looking to keep him at this time (although our 5-year old daughter already named him...

The reason I liked that quote so much from Batya Esther in Tzfat, Israel is the second line;.... Better yet, do you miss Puppy?
I just find that amusing, it made me smile and want to share it, the item showed up in my In Box- e-mail.

News Flash: For those who truly know (and hopefully have come to at least like) the man behind this website; I have gotten the green light and will finally be able to make Aliyah (pending only the usual Nefesh B Nefesh procedues-or course!)...

Ain't that great!

Hopefully I got the ending of the last website correctly, I am so partial to the .org ending I am probably one of the few people on the web who might actually choose to buy the .org domain over the .com domain, because well I just kind of like it, and others do as well!

PS: While plenty of people who make Aliyah sell stuff from their apartment before making Aliyah, I am trying to lighten up on my virtual property, domains, before leaving the US.

So, if any of my friends or followers on the web know someone in need of a domain, or two or three, please buy one of mine, and I do have some great domains available!

Also, by buying a domain privately, I will gladly donate the commissions I save (up to 18%) to an upstanding charity of their choice.

Contact me for a complete list, and I will do my best to give you my actual asking price, if you give me some clue as to the type of domain you need.

Ten Domains Available At Only 25% Above Estibot Appraised Value!

Check out these domains who's value has been established after only a few days in Sedo Parking. They are available directly from the publisher of this website at only 25% to 10 times above their estibot appraised value:

Save on brokers commission, buy direct!

adsand.com $4300 [ If you are an Ad Agency, how can you miss Ads And... 43k firm! 1st binding offer (can accept a PayPal binding offer)  that meets my price get this...Dont let this slip by you!
hyiplistings.com $3800 [ If you are into stocks you know what this is (hint penny stocks)... Lets negotiate an offer of 10 times the appraisal keeps this off the auction platform....
faceagain.net $3600... If you could buy FaceAgain.com would it be worth 100K? How about a serious offer in the low to mid 30k range? Or twist my arm and negotiate this for an even better price!
AlmostHome.in    $2500 My 1st .in domain... So you can get this for a sweet 18k..firm 1st firm offer binds me for this price!
bestface.us $1900 (Don't be a trend follower be a trend maker, if you live in the US, then a US domain with Best and Face is definitely worth 25k! Don't wait!
UsHost.us  $1700   [ The Buy US concept is out there once again, and the .Us domain is poised to be Big right here in the US! Offers in the mid 20K range.
findcashquickly.com $1600- (This one is going to probably be auctioned unless I can an immediate and  serious offer in the mid 5 figure range.
TopTraffic.us $1200    This one has got to be valuable for an SEO firm that wants to play up the next Buy US concept 37K firm. Sew up this deal at the best price, no auction, no commission, just buy it before you have to wait for an auction and bid against your competitors!
GenericDomain.us $1100  Since my top domain price on this page is 43K, could this domain be worth anything less? Make Offer, impress me with an agressive 1st binding offer...Make this Domain Yours if you know how to use it!
FrumSearch.com $1100   Since this page is called ChaiDomains there should be a nice Jewish Domain on the page! Frum is the simple and easy to spell word in orthodox Jewish Circles, so make this your domain....The 1st serious offer above 36K makes this domain yours...or a very aggressive 1st offer thats very close to my asking price!

We all save on brokers fee's so depending on the success of this pitch (which helps my small family relocate to Israel, yes this is our pre Aliyah Sale) I will donate 10% of the proceeds to charity of buyers choice. If one buyer bids and obtains any three they can name their favorite non-profit cause to receive 18% of the final sale price.

Know serious domain Players?

These domains are in the 100k plus league:

WordWorld.org
Parked at Sedo, no exclusive or auction yet.

TodaysClouds.com
Make Offer!

OhItsEasy.com
This is the domain for the Ad Agency (Lets Say in the TV field) that wants something strong to deliver to some specific client ... This domain would probably net over 350K in an auction but who wants to risk a random exclusive listing!

The three domains above are in the 100k to 380k league so consider a serious offer versus counter offer strategy. [ Remember skipping the auctions keeps these sales private, and allows the buyer to position himself in the market...in the best way!

Same 18% to Charity [ No offer trying to circumvent this will cause me to accept it! This is ChaiDomains...and that domain could be your as well.  [ make offer ] Has live website and Stats!!!   Move into the lucrative Jewish Non-Profit Market With a Domain that can sell established products. 180K Firm!

What does anybody think?

Even though the "Global" economy is tanking, our well to do friends at Google apparently are willing to experiment with things like "Buzz" and Sidewikki and then they tell you that:

Sidewiki is being closed down

We will update this page with additional information about exporting Sidewiki entries if it becomes necessary.

Or

Buzz is going bye-bye now but you can keep your buzzes?

So what I am supposed to do with Rebuzz.org or Rebuzz.co any developer out there want to help "capture" some of the "Buzz" out there, before they go extinct?

She was finally able to provide for her three children while staying home with them.

I read Kelly's blog last month and decided to feature her story in our local job report. In our phone interview she told me her amazing story. "I basically make about $6,000-$8,000 a month online. It's enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 10-13 hours a week from home."

Domain Parking And Domain Sales

Unlike selling a used car, selling a domain does not necessarily invoke the question, why are you selling it.

Also when buying or selling domains, what one has paid for any given domain is never part of the conversation. ;-)

However one should also consider that if one want to sell a domain quickly that they may not get "Top Dollar" for it.

The domains that I have listed below are going to placed for sale most likely within the next 24 hours.

adsand.com
hyiplistings.com
faceagain.net
tradename.us
bestface.us
findcashquickly.com
greatwebsites.us
toptraffic.us
frumsearch.com
genericdomain.us
sowebad.com

I had considered including appraisal information but then considered that maybe this information would be viewed suspiciously.

Estibot.com/Appraisal

If you are going to get some or all of the above domains appraised, I believe that you can get 10 domains appraised at no cost from Estibot (no its not necessarily a "Jewish Designed Robot" which I mention because of the name, b/c Esti is a popular frum name) but quite possibly it was named after it's function, "estimating" the value of the domain.

Or if you enjoy thinking a bit on the creative side, the inventor of this software had an aha! moment when he thought hey, Estibot, its a great name, sounds Jewish and provides a solid estimate of what the domain is worth.

Now except possibly for: FindCashQuickly.com and FrumSearch.com I beleive the estimates provided by Estibot are usually a good starting point for working out a selling price. Even though Estibot "seems" to have a Jewish name, I am not sure if it know whats Frum means, (maybe it's [ Estibot's ] creator was a "secular" Jew or better yet maybe Israeli and simply not really religious.

More about the domains later if you are interested I can tell you that I am not very likely to take less than the Estibot appraisal. However for multiple domains or complete packages I would consider some negotiations.

Also you should understand that I am interested in selling these domains quickly mainly because I am finally going to be able to move to Israel and no doubt I will have a fair amount of expenses, related to re-location. :) :) :)

BTW, FYI the complete package price is somewhere in the 25K range (negotiable)
